How to use our website?

With over 300,000 hand-painted oil reproductions to choose from, the task of selecting your painting may seem a little daunting. Which is why we’ve designed this website to help you make the right choice.

I’m Larry Withers and I’m here to act as your concierge, if you will, to guide you through the process. So, let’s get started.

If you already have a favorite painting in mind, then the process is easy. Simply type the title of the painting in the search box, click and you’ll immediately be taken to the page for that painting.

Here you’ll see a picture of the original art. Below is a description and history of the work. Some pages also feature an audio version. Buyers may be concerned whether the work will fit in with their décor, so we also feature a useful color bar that shows the spectrum of colors used in this painting.

When you’re ready to buy, simply select the desired size.

When choosing the size of your painting you have 4 options. You can order you artwork:

• at the original size

• a smaller or larger size that still maintains the original proportions

• in standard sizes

• or create a custom size

For instance, take this painting, “The Kiss” by Gustav Klimt. You can purchase a reproduction from first art gallery at the size of the original painting which 70 inches by 70 inches. A pretty large painting. You can also order smaller versions, 36 x 36, 24 x 24, etc. But the smaller reproductions will still maintain the proportions of the original, which is basically a square.

We also offer paintings in standard sizes. Picture frames are manufactured standard sizes which are often less expensive than custom frames. If not proportionate to the original size" our artists will expertly crop or modify your painting to fit these popular size frames, while still maintaining the integrity of the original work.

The final option is to order your painting in a custom size of your choice. Change the dimensions however you want to suit your individual tastes.

When you’re finished simply click “Add to Cart.” You can continue browsing for other paintings or go directly to checkout.
